The new E-Biz Awards recognize organizations and individuals in business, technology, and education for their abilities to use Internet technology and the World Wide Web to set new standards for excellence. The awards will honor the importance of E-Business and the progress of business and high-technology in the State of Hawaii, by recognizing all of the factors that contribute to the success of E-Business as a whole. More than just an award for Web sites and the organizations they represent, the E-Biz Awards also recognize the creative and collaborative efforts of both Web developers and their clients. E-Biz awards winners will gain credibility for their sites and will be able to set up reciprocal links to high-traffic Web sites that will help their search engine rankings.
